The Role

·         Reporting to the HRD for MENA and acting HRD for Asia Pacific

·         Generalist role leading employee engagement & training and development

·         Employee engagement including onboarding, induction plans, events and surveys

·         Administration support in regards to financial approvals for recruitment and training costs

·         Leading all training & development activities across the region including creation and delivery of material

·         Partnering with Regional HQ team on group wide training

·         Link up with HR & HQ teams for Asia Pacific and MENA, including group wide HR projects

 

The Candidate:

·         Strong FMCG or consumer background ideally with a MNC

·         Degree educated

·         MENA experience is essential

·         Experience dealing with external vendors and suppliers

·         Driven and capable L&D professional with a generalist background

·         Arabic speaking would be beneficial but not essential

·         There will be travel across the region

·         Ideally 4 + years’ experience within HR

The Role

Reporting to the Sales Manager, this role will be based at the head office in Dubai and will have an overall accountability for and ownership of HVAC sales and retail in the assigned Market. You will manage and support the clients to achieve the companies targets as well as put in place effective actions in case of deviations from the plan and analyzing the data and reporting the findings to management. Main role would involve planning, strategy and investment with clients in the region, dealership support, sales performance analysis of dealerships. Working directly with the Product management team to keep abreast of competitor's pricing and market activity to stay ahead of the curve.

 

The Candidate:

- Diploma/ Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 3 years experience.

- Preferably with an HVAC manufacturer for HVAC Sales at a regional level.
- Planning and Analysis experience would be an advantage
- Exposure to Middle East markets and having managed clients / dealerships would be a plus
- Travel involved in the role would be about 50%

The Role

  • Responsible for directing all daily finance and accounting activities of the Division entities.

  • Month end processing, GL journals, review monthly reconciliations of GL accounts

  • Bank reconciliation; provide cash flow forecasts/analysis for management

  • Preparation of company audited statutory accounts for companies

  • Review of the reporting Package, Profit and Loss, Balance sheet and CashFlow Statement of all the international subsidiaries (20+) of the division

  • Analysis of the Group performance and KPI compared to budget and  previous year

  • Co-ordinating work with the auditors in relation to audit of all subsidiaries worldwide

  • Report monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated financial information

  • Ensure compliance with both the internal and external legislative and regulatory environments

  • Establish and maintain close relationships with external auditors, solicitors and advisors, ensuring compliance with all regulatory bodies

  • Overseeing all accounting procedures and systems used by the Subsidiaries ensuring their compliance to Group policies and generally accepted accounting principles.

  • Involved in finance risks management projects leaded by group internal auditors.

  •  Interact with the management team to provide consultative support for business improvement initiatives through financial and management information analyses, reports and recommendations

 

The Candidate:

  • Competent and seasoned finance professional with strong influencing skills and a proven ability to deal with all levels with a sound knowledge of effective best practices. 

  • Culturally you will be a team player with effective communication skills and possess a flexible approach with the ability to work within a fast paced corporate environment

  • High degree of credibility and excellent relationship building skills.

  • An ability to communicate financial matters effectively to non-financial professionals

  • Qualified accountant

  • 8 years’ experience in a similar capacity in a multinational company

Cheque Preparation as per Instruction from Manager In-charge of Department.

Addressing various queries of the Customers in order to reconcile the balances and ensure accounts are kept in Order.

Handling of Petty Cash related expenses, entries in system and daily payment to respective departments.

Monitoring of all Utility related bills and timely booking and payment of those expenses.

Passing month end closing related entries in the books of accounts.

Preparing treasury related documentation to support Management Accountant and updating financial records.

Passing Goods Receipt Note (GRN) in the system.

Follow-up with Logistic Team for accuracy in booking GRN's.

Periodic verification and reconciliation of suppliers balances. 

Filling-up Cheques deposit slips based on requirement of department. 

Any Other work provided with the Consent of the Finance Manager.


The Candidate:

B.com/ M.com / MBA - Finance qualified.
Good communication skills.
Work experience in Tally, MS Excel etc.
Ability to perform under pressure
Able to handle Cash and Bank Book Maintenance, Petty Cash Handling, Payroll processing, Follow-up on receivables etc.
